Until 21st June, groups in peak hours are limited to 6 guests. This is to provide the best experience and of course adhere to government guidelines. If your group is smaller, we recommend booking a table in our bar and joining the wait list for our walk-in Shuffleboard. Alternatively, we have plenty of options available for smaller groups during our off-peak hours.
Yes you can. We're happy to host business meetings for up to 6 guests per group.
If you have booked a shuffleboard you don’t have to make a pre-order, but we strongly encourage this in order to help have everything ready for your arrival and to minimise contact with our team during your visit. If you have booked a table for drinks, to secure the booking we ask you to pre-order your first round of drinks (minimum £5 per person). You can order more drinks in venue using our app or ‘push for service’ buttons.
We only need one person from your group to have the app. This is so you can pay via your phone rather than using a card machine, again minimising risk. You can also use our ‘push for service’ buttons in venue.
This means we have followed the guidelines set out by the government in order to deliver a safe experience. We’ve assessed every part of our offering; the spaces we provide, our team, the training given to them, our food and drinks and how we look after you. We are also having monthly health and safety assessments, as well as regular daily deep cleaning of the venue, with higher frequency in more used areas.
Our playing areas provide you with a semi-private space to play and catch up with friends. We have ensured that each group are at least 2m from another group, so you’re safely able to observe social distancing from others.
We thoroughly clean every area used in between groups arriving, however if you have any concerns please ask to speak to a manager who will be happy to discuss this with you. If we’re able to do so, we will move you to a more suitable space, however we want to reassure you that each area is safely distanced to ensure reduced interaction with others.
Your pucks will be deep cleaned before your arrival, and then again once you’ve departed the area, before another group uses them.
This is to minimise contamination for both our team and customers. Card payment, and payment via an app require much less interaction and therefore reduce any chance of infection spreading.
We will ask someone else from your group to pay. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash at this time.
Hand sanitisers will be clearly signposted throughout the venue, cleaned regularly and topped up. They will be by your playing areas and as you pass through the venue.
When you arrive at the venue, we might ask you to wait outside while another group leaves. You will then be taken straight to your booking area. When walking around the venue we ask our customers to look out for each other, waiting to let each other pass in narrower places, and ensuring a 2m distance is kept. Our team will be on hand to ensure no bottlenecks or crowding occur and we ask you to respect this. Our team will not operate from workstations; we’ll be using pagers to update when an order is ready at the kitchen, orders need to be taken etc. This is again to limit any close contact and ensure social distancing is adhered to.
Yes, in some cases there may be one or two areas which aren’t suitable due to social distancing restrictions. If that is the case they will be clearly signposted, and we’ll ask you to not use them.
All of our team will have full training before returning to work. This is to ensure they can look after you and themselves as much as possible. In addition to this we also have mental health champions to support our team during this transition in responsibility.
Our staff have only been tested where directed to do so by a medical professional. On arriving at work each day temperatures are taken and recorded. If anyone has a temperature, they will be asked to return home and self-isolate.
All team members have had full COVID secure training both on and offline with updates made to our training documents, as well as clear back of house instructions to reassure and instruct on ways of keeping each other safe.
We have implemented the following changes: Our kitchen is observing social distancing with designated workstations and a reduced menu to minimise the number of staff required in the kitchen to prepare meals. Our bars are running as dispense only with staff allocated to collect orders and bring to your area. Managers will be on hand throughout the venue to ensure groups remain at a suitable distance and you still have a great time with us. We will encourage you to pre-order and pre-pay for food where possible, and then top via our app when in venue. Our staff will then bring your order straight to you.
As we’ve reduced the number of staff in our kitchen we are only offering select items to ensure we can deliver food for all dietary requirements, whilst keeping our team safe. Pizza is the best way to do this, and we think it’s pretty glorious too.
If you were to order at the bar this would mean that we couldn’t adhere to social distancing. Our staff will have PPE equipment and have been trained on how best to serve you, so this process helps us to minimise any risk.
if there’s space we’d love you to stay for a drink or two. However, if we’re a little full, due to capacity restrictions we may ask you to leave the venue. To avoid disappointment, we suggest booking a table where possible.
Where guidelines require it, our team will wear masks to serve you and prepare food and drink. We will ensure a specific staff member delivers your fresh food and drinks, whilst another member will remove any dirty crockery.
As with the latest government guidelines announced 22/09/20 you will be asked to wear a mask when not eating or drinking to keep each other safe. We ask all guests to adhere to 2m social distancing when moving through the venue which helps to minimise risk.
The Colonnade at Canary Wharf is covered, but please note our Summer Terrace is not, so we suggest a warm coat! If the weather is poor on the day of your booking we will do our best to accommodate you under the Colonnade, or we will be happy to help you rearrange for a future date.
Children are more than welcome in the venue before 5pm if you're just joining us for a bite to eat in the bar area. For health and safety reasons, players must be at least 18 years old to be at the shuffle table (playing areas) or to play shuffleboard.
Our shuffle tables are designed for groups of up to 6 people to give the best possible experience! During our busiest times, we ask for a minimum of 4 people to get as many people playing as possible and to ensure everyone has an epic Electric Shuffle experience.

We’ve taken a lightning rod to the traditional game of shuffleboard, adding delicious food and drink, in a breath-taking venue that’s waiting to be discovered. Puck by glorious puck, our engineers of fun will ensure every element of your visit is taken care of, forging a social experience you’ll never forget.
“Table shuffleboard”, played at Electric Shuffle, is a game in which players push metal-and-plastic weighted pucks down a long and smooth wooden table into a scoring area at the opposite end of the table. We’ve developed unique technology to transform this centuries old pastime into a concept that’s surprisingly competitive, delightfully immersive and outrageously thrilling.
While we still use a traditional shuffleboard and pucks, we’ve created unparalleled machine vision technology which can identify where the puck is on the table and automatically score games, to create an unforgettable social experience.
Players will join either the blue or the pink team. Unlike traditional shuffleboard tables, we only play from one end which is known as the throwzone. Players will compete in three different games, sliding their pucks towards the scorezone to win points for their team.
We’ve developed three different games to keep groups of all sizes excited and engaged; Amplifier is based on the traditional game of ‘knock-off’, where players try to get their puck in the numbered zones to accumulate the highest score possible. Eclipse is similar to the game of curling, where the nearest puck to the target wins. In Territory, the aim is to own the largest amount of space (or territory) on the board by spacing out your pucks.
Unfortunately not, we’ve developed a unique vision system which can only detect Electric Shuffle pucks.
We'd always recommend booking. However, we do keep a shuffle table free for taster sessions for groups of up to 16 people. Just pop your name down at reception when you arrive, and they'll have you playing on the next available slot free of charge. Please note this is on a first come, first served basis and session times vary depending on your group size to ensure the best possible Electric Shuffle experience: Up to 4 people – 30 minutes 6-10 people – 60 minutes 11-16 people – 90 minutes
The waiting time will vary depending on how busy we are, but there's plenty of space in our venue to grab a drink and a bite to eat while you wait. If you speak with our reception team, they'll be happy to advise on the current waiting time.
Of course! The incredible atmosphere in our stunning bar area makes it the perfect backdrop whether you’re popping in for a bite to eat or a drink with friends.
